This policy explains what data Hubven handles, why, who it is shared with, and how you can ask for it to be corrected or deleted. It applies to the Hubven app for business owners (app.hubvenrd.com and the iPhone app), to each business’s booking page, and to this website, hubvenrd.com.

1. Who is responsible

Hubven is a service operated by Anell Román Guerrero Sosa, San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic. In this policy, “Hubven”, “we” and “us” refer to that person, who is responsible for this policy.

Each business that uses Hubven decides what it does with its customers’ data: for example, when it confirms or cancels an appointment and how it contacts each customer. Hubven handles that data on the business’s behalf, only to provide the service to it.

We handle personal data within the general framework of Dominican law: Law No. 172-13 on the Comprehensive Protection of Personal Data (Ley núm. 172-13 sobre Protección Integral de los Datos Personales).

  • Business owners: people who create a Hubven account to manage their business, from app.hubvenrd.com or from the iPhone app.
  • Customers who book: people who book an appointment on a business’s booking page, from their browser, without downloading anything or creating an account.

4. What data is used for, and what it isn’t

We use data only to:

  • Create and maintain the owner’s account and their business’s booking page.
  • Receive bookings and show them to the business.
  • Notify the owner of each new booking, if they turned on notifications.
  • Send service emails: to the owner, the sign-up confirmation, password recovery and the account-deleted notice; to the customer, only the 6-digit code when the business turned on email verification.
  • Limit repeated attempts and abuse, for example too many bookings from the same IP address or the same phone number.
  • Reply to people who write to us and give support.
  • Measure visits to, and the speed of, hubvenrd.com in aggregate.

What we don’t do:

  • We don’t sell personal data.
  • We don’t show ads or use data for advertising.
  • We don’t build profiles, we don’t track anyone across apps or websites, and we don’t use the device’s advertising identifier.
  • We don’t send reminders, marketing or WhatsApp messages to customers. When a business confirms or cancels an appointment, it does so from its own WhatsApp: Hubven only opens a link with the message already written.
  • The app doesn’t include any third-party SDKs or scripts.

5. Who data is shared with

The business you book with sees your booking details so it can serve you, confirm or cancel your appointment and, if applicable, check your payment receipt.

We also share with these providers only what Hubven needs to work. All of them are outside the Dominican Republic.

  • Provider: Supabase

    What data it receives
The app’s data: accounts, businesses, appointments, customers, reviews and files
    What for
    Database, authentication and file storage
  • Provider: Vercel

    What data it receives
Every request to the website and the app, including the IP address; on hubvenrd.com, also the analytics data
    What for
Hosting, request logs and analytics for hubvenrd.com
  • Provider: Upstash

    What data it receives
IP address, phone number and a fingerprint (hash) of the email address, never the address itself, in temporary keys that delete themselves (see section 9)
    What for
    Limiting repeated attempts
  • Provider: Resend

    What data it receives
The recipient’s email address and the content of each service email (for example, the business name and the verification code)
    What for
Sending service emails and contact-form emails
  • Provider: The browser’s notification service (Google, Mozilla or Apple, depending on the browser)

    What data it receives
The notice of each new booking, with the customer’s name and the service
    What for
Delivering notifications to the owner who turned them on

WhatsApp and Google Maps: Hubven only shows links that people choose to open, and the app doesn’t load any SDK from them. Once opened, those services’ own policies apply. When the owner confirms or cancels an appointment, the WhatsApp message includes the appointment details (for example, the name, service, date and time) and the owner sends it from their own phone.

6. What is public

Each business’s booking page is public: anyone with the link can see:

  • The business’s details, such as its name, description, address, WhatsApp and photos.
  • Its services.
  • Its staff: name, role, photo and schedule.
  • Reviews: rating, comment and the reviewer’s short name.
  • The business’s active bank accounts (bank, type, number and holder), so customers know where to transfer.
  • Times that are already booked (time, service and professional), without any customer data: no name, phone number, notes, address or amounts.

Fines: if the business uses them, when a phone number is typed into the booking form, the system shows whether that number has an outstanding fine with the business and how much it is.

7. Cookies, local storage and analytics

In the owner’s app. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in (it lasts up to 400 days or until you sign out) and a temporary one to recover your password. The browser also keeps in its local storage your theme preference (light or dark), the last business you opened and the last schedule you applied in bulk. They are there for the app to work; they are not used to track you.

On the booking page. We don’t store cookies or anything in local storage in the customer’s browser.

On hubvenrd.com. We don’t use cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure visits and site speed in aggregate. Web Analytics doesn’t use cookies: it recognizes a visit with a code calculated from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. These tools don’t load when you open these pages from the Hubven app.

8. Permissions

Camera and photos. Only when you choose to upload an image: the owner, for the logo, covers and service and staff photos; the customer, for the payment receipt. You can pick a photo you already have instead of using the camera.

Notifications. They are optional and never required: you can use Hubven without turning them on. If you turn them on, we notify you of each new booking, and you can turn them off at any time in your browser or phone settings.

Location. Only the customer’s, on the booking page, and only if they tap the button to use their location for an at-home service and accept the browser’s permission. Otherwise, typing the address is enough. The owner’s app doesn’t ask for location.

Contacts. Hubven never asks for access to your contacts.

9. Retention and deletion

We don’t automatically delete data because of its age: it is kept as long as the business exists. The only things that delete themselves are database backups, after 7 days at most; server logs (Vercel), after 30 days at most; and the temporary keys Upstash keeps to stop abuse: IP address and phone keys (when booking, uploading receipts, checking fines, reviewing or reporting), in about 10 to 30 minutes; account sign-up and email verification keys (IP address and a hash of the email, never the email itself), in about 2 hours; and counters with no personal data, in up to 1 day.

How to delete your account (owners)

From the app or the web:

  1. 1.Open Settings and tap “Eliminar mi cuenta” (Delete my account), in the “Eliminar cuenta” (Delete account) card.
  2. 2.Review the list of what will be deleted and tap “Continuar” (Continue).
  3. 3.Type your password.
  4. 4.Type the name of your business, exactly as it appears on the screen.
  5. 5.Tap “Eliminar mi cuenta” (Delete my account).

If your account doesn’t have a business yet, the “Crea tu negocio” (Create your business) screen has an “Eliminar mi cuenta” (Delete my account) link: it asks for your password and for you to type your email.

If you can’t get into the app, write to us at contacto@hubvenrd.com from your account’s email address and we’ll delete it for you.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible, with no grace period. When it’s done, we send you a confirmation email.

What is deleted

  • Your login account.
  • Your business and its booking page, with its services, staff and schedules.
  • Your appointments (including recurring appointments), your customers and their data, and the reviews.
  • The photos, the logo and the payment receipts.
  • Your phone number, your bank accounts and your settings.
  • Your business’s private data, your achievements and your referral link.

Your booking link and any QR codes you printed stop working, and another business could use that name.

What remains

  • Database backups. They delete themselves: your data may remain in them for up to 7 days after you delete your account.
  • Server logs (Vercel), which include one line recording the deletion with the account and business IDs. They are kept for no more than 30 days.
  • Emails that were already sent.

Customers who booked

They don’t have an account. To request access to, correction of or deletion of their data, they can write to the business where they booked or to contacto@hubvenrd.com. Hubven handles it manually, within 10 business days.

Deleted reviews

The owner can delete reviews of their business. An audit copy remains that only the owner can read, until the business is deleted.

The same steps are on the Support page.

10. Your rights and how to exercise them

You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent.

Owners. From the app you can view and correct your business’s data, and delete your account under Settings → Eliminar mi cuenta (section 9). For any other request, write to us at contacto@hubvenrd.com.

Customers who book. Write to the business where you booked or to contacto@hubvenrd.com. We reply within 10 business days.

Withdrawing consent. You can turn off notifications or the location permission at any time in your browser or phone settings, and stop using Hubven whenever you want.

11. Minors

Hubven is only for people aged 18 or older, both to create an account and to book. We don’t knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has given us their data, write to us at contacto@hubvenrd.com and we will delete it.

12. Security

Communication with Hubven (this website, the app and the booking pages) travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and each owner signs in to their own dashboard with their own account and password. We recommend using a password you don’t use for other services and not sharing it.

13. International transfers

All of our providers (Supabase, Vercel, Upstash, Resend and the browsers’ notification services) are outside the Dominican Republic, so your data is stored and processed in other countries. We only give them what they need to provide the service, as explained in section 5.

14. Changes and effective date

This policy is effective as of October 21, 2026. If we change it, we will post the new version on this page with its date and, if the change is important, we will notify owners by email.

15. Contact

For any question about this policy or your data, write to us at contacto@hubvenrd.com or on WhatsApp at +1 (809) 836-0456. Responsible party: Anell Román Guerrero Sosa, San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic.
